Let's start with why there's a stigma out there about our male youths and their aversion to math, science, and technology. True/false, deserved or not?

I realize I am not a male, but a fellow Walden collegue. I teach in a very male dominated field, I am the Woodshop teacher. To be honest about the aversion of male youths with math, science and technology, in the middle school, they are just lazy. They want everything handed to them already done. In a way I think the progression of technology has made our society lazy.
